Studio

Custom B2B SaaS, built like a product — not a contract.

When your workflow is too specific for off-the-shelf, we build the platform around it. The same engineers and operators who built HippoHub will build yours.

Not sure you need a build?

Start with a $500 Systemization Audit instead.

90 minutes on a call, a written report on your tool stack, and an honest read on whether a build is the right answer. Refunded if you go on to hire us.

Who this is for

If any of these sound familiar, we should talk.

You're running ops on 4 spreadsheets and a shared inbox.

Your team's real workflow lives in tabs and threads. We map it, then build the system that replaces it.

You bought a SaaS that almost fits, but 30% of your work happens outside it.

Off-the-shelf tools force you to bend. We build the part that fits your shape — sometimes alongside the SaaS, sometimes replacing it.

You want to productize your internal process and resell it.

We build multi-tenant from day one. If your internal tool could become a product, we structure it that way.

What we build

Real platforms, not Zapier stacks.

We're full-stack — Next.js, Postgres, TypeScript, React Native — so we can build the actual product, not glue together no-code tools that fall over at scale.

  • Client portals
  • Internal CRMs & dashboards
  • Scheduling & booking systems
  • Course & community platforms
  • Multi-tenant SaaS for resale
  • Custom integrations & automations

The stack we use for your build is the same one we use for HippoHub. We know it because we live in it.

How it works

From first call to live product, in four steps.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

    30 min · free

Tell us what you're trying to systemize. We'll be honest about whether a build is the right answer.

  2. 02

    Scope & estimate

    1 week · paid discovery

We map the workflow with your team and write a fixed-scope proposal — timeline, deliverables, price.

  3. 03

    Build

    2–12 weeks

You see real screens by week two. Weekly demos, real users testing, fast iteration. No 'big reveal' theatre.

  4. 04

    Handoff or stay

    Your call

We hand off cleanly (code, docs, runbooks) — or stay on retainer to keep building. No lock-in either way.

After the build

What you own, what we hold, who pays for what.

A lot of agencies stay quiet about this part — and then surprise their clients with hosting bills or vendor lock-in. We'd rather be plain about it upfront.

You own the code.

Source pushed to a repository in your GitHub org. Full commit history, MIT-licensed where applicable, no hidden "you must keep paying us" clauses.

Infrastructure is in your name.

Vercel, Neon, Clerk, Resend — all accounts created under your business. Vendors bill you directly. Typical monthly cost: $100–500 for small platforms, $1–3k as you scale.

No vendor lock-in.

Standard stack: Next.js, Postgres, TypeScript. Any competent developer can pick it up. We hand off the keys; you're not stuck with us.

Stay on retainer (optional).

From $1,500/mo for ongoing maintenance, monitoring, bug fixes, and small enhancements. Most clients stay on for the first 6 months while their team learns the platform, then decide.

The plain-English version

The build fee covers our work. Hosting and SaaS vendor costs (Vercel, database, auth, email) are billed to you directly — same as if you'd hired any other dev shop or built it in-house. If you want us to keep maintaining and improving it after launch, that's an optional retainer. If you don't, you walk away with everything and we part as friends.

Pricing

Honest ranges, no enterprise theatre.

Final number depends on scope — but here's where most engagements land. Custom projects are quoted based on scope of work after a discovery call.

Case study

We built HippoHub for our own parent agency.

GOwithHIPPO Travel was paying for six SaaS tools — Travefy, Kajabi, Calendly, VacationCRM, Shopify+Recharge, Mailchimp — to run a 67-agent agency. We built HippoHub to replace all of them with one platform. Then we made it multi-tenant so other agencies could license it.

A 20-minute call is enough to know whether we're the right fit. No deck, no proposal — just a conversation.
